Introduction
A collaborative effort between the Township and the developer to create a memorial in honor of the veterans and first responders of Washington Township, Michigan.
Project Summary
As a quiet place of reflection, the memorial was set in a prominent location within the Township. The memorial was built by the developer on municipal grounds and dedicated last fall by the Township. Care was given to coordinate site furnishings and finishes with existing historic Township buildings and public spaces. A memorial pathway of remembrance was included to commemorate veterans and first responders, who served our Country so bravely.
Our Role
Nadi Group provided site and landscape plans from concept to construction documents. The team was integral in coordinating between the developer and the township to provide a well-received public space for the community.
