Modular Multi-unit Community, Spain

Project Overview

Introduction

A private developer engaged the Nadi Group to design a master plan of a modular multi-unit community on a 2.7-hectare parcel of land in rural Spain.

Project Summary

The masterplan encompasses 73 factory-manufactured and assembled on-site modular residential units divided among 3 different typologies: 2 and 3 story apartment buildings, townhouses and single-family detached houses, with over 60% of the site dedicated to green and social spaces for the future community. The masterplan takes inspirations from the surrounding environments in terms of walkability, wayfinding and building massing.

The schematic architectural design of the units is based on design elements and spaces that are typical to Spanish residential architecture.

Our Role

The Nadi group provided land planning services and general design consultancy to the new development and conceptualized architectural design for the modular units.
