Chrysalis Eco Resort - Long Island, The Bahamas

Project Overview

Introduction

Maritek Bahamas Ltd. engaged Nadi Group to assist in creating a comprehensive development strategy, master plan, as well as coastal, ecological and infrastructural frameworks. The project included collaborations with the federal government, local and international businesses and investors.

Project Summary

Long Island is geographically a remarkable place with its own unique cultural identity, climate, eco-systems and history. The project intent is to honor these local attributes through the sensitive development of Chrysalis (Hamilton’s Ridge). Taking inspiration from the spectacular natural beauty of this island, the project mandate is to make this special place one of Bahamas most eco sensitive coastal communities. The entire project team believes that Long Island truly is one of the 20-best islands in the world (selected by Islands Magazine).
