Honey Land Social Hall and Community Club, Arizona
Project Overview
Introduction
A private developer contracted the Nadi Group to develop the architectural concept for a Community Club or Family Entertainment Center (FEC). This project acts as an extension to Honey Land's RV Resort land planning services within the same 15-acre site in Prescott, Arizona.
Project Summary
The project is part of the Deep Well Ranch master plan district, which is within a 20-minute walk to the downtowns of Prescott and Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley. The targeted customer group includes a variety of demographics, such as regional Prescott communities, tourists, and nearby industries. The Community Club project also envisions community entertainment amenities to support the immediate recreation, open space and educational zone or “Deep Well Ranch Park” in the municipal’s master plan.
During the same brainstorming session with the client’s family, we explored concepts on connectivity, street frontages, and preliminary FEC/RV resort spatial relationship. We also considered the natural ridgeline and easements within the site and adjacent developments.
Throughout the entire process with the client, which was synergistic, collaborative and fun, we delivered an architectural vision and building program that encompass intergenerational playfulness, global village experience, familial celebrations, vintage 80s and 90s retro and good old-fashioned nostalgia.
Our Role
Our role is to provide architectural concept services for a cohesive and profitable membership-based community entertainment venue. Our services include a comprehensive analysis of the site’s context, a regional bubble diagram, an architectural parti diagram and a visioning document.
