33 Hargrave, Manitoba

Introduction

Located in the heart of Winnipeg, 33 Hargrave Street is just minutes away from Broadway Avenue, the Assiniboine River walking paths, Winnipeg Square and the University of Winnipeg campus. Timbercreek Communities engaged Nadi Group to provide a refresh for the exterior of 33 Hargrave in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The client wanted to create a usable space for tenants.

Project Summary

Previously, the exterior was just a walkway into the foyer surrounded by crushed gravel. Nadi Group designed a gated patio area with contemporary patterned paving divided by crushed granite. We also selected sleek dark furniture and planters (filled with flowers and native grasses) to place around the area for people to sit, relax or even eat their meal outside. Shielded by a tall fence, Nadi Group worked with artist James Culleton to turn the wall into a piece of public artwork, called conFluENCE, that illuminates at night. In addition to the patio area, we also designed a small dog park area for tenants to bring their pets for fresh air.
